Unknown screwback DI with red swastika on it.

Hey everyone. This is a friend's DI, looking for some help on the possible ID of it. Any chance it's connected to the 45th Division? Any help would be appreciated.

Don't think this one is associated with the old 45th Division, maybe a WWII Finnish Army item? They used the Swastika too, a photo of the back will tell if this at least might be American

Is that cactus on the bottom of the DI?

Yeah what is that on the bottom, looks like a grill? with letters intwinded in with Lighting bolts

According to the ASMIC charge list it is the New Mexico Col of A & M ROTC

That would make sense, New Mexico= Swastika, Swastika= the 45th Divisions use of it, the 45th Div being made up of units also from New Mexico.
