Bill Scott Posted September 25, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2013 The insignia shown was bought by me 20 years ago.It came from an Airborne collector out west.The story was a WW2 101st Paratrooper who was an instructor during the Korean War gave this to a parachute student who was a patch collector.The instructor told the collector it was made in France in 1945.The friend that owns it now is still waiting for an ID.the shape of this is so unusual that I think it has to mean something.Maybe a section of a country a bend in a river etc.All replies and thoughts are appreciated.
