So I ended up with these rank patches in a lot and have no idea what they are.  Maybe West Point cadet?   Anyone know what they are and time period and potentially value?  Posted pictures of the fronts and backs.  Thanks!

Military school (any number of them).  Most likely Corporal (when worn on lower sleeve above the cuff) or Lieutenant (when worn in standard location between shoulder and elbow).  Not worth much, a few dollars perhaps.

Agree they are for a cadet corporal as worn on the lower sleeve.  Cadet sgt is also 2 chevrons, but those are a bit "taller" than 2 chevron corporals and are worn higher up on the sleeve,

Yes, Corporal if on lower sleeve and Sergeant on upper sleeve. A Cadet Lt. would have 3 (yes three), stripes on the upper sleeve.
