Sarge8 Posted June 23, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 23, 2013 I got this off Ebay. Arrived yesterday. Now to get a form to display it on. Frank
RustyCanteen Posted June 23, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 23, 2013 That's a nice uniform! Is it named? RC
Sarge8 Posted June 23, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted June 23, 2013 Has a laundry mark but no name. From a nurse who served at Ft Lewis, WA in WW2. The seller had a beautiful two-tone blue nurse uniform (same nurse, I think), but that one got away from me. Frank

RustyCanteen Posted June 24, 2013 Share #5 Posted June 24, 2013 It's beautiful group! You might be able to check the number against the commissioned registers. RC

RustyCanteen Posted June 24, 2013 Share #8 Posted June 24, 2013 How do I access the register? Thanks, Frank Go to "archive.org" and search for the Army Officer Registers, they are free to download or you can read them online. You will probably need to find a 1945 edition or so, and then try searching all the ANC officers until you find a match. Good luck.
Sarge8 Posted June 25, 2013 Author Share #9 Posted June 25, 2013 Thanks for the comments. It was a nice group, a little pricey, but how often do you find a complete group like this. Everything matches so I don't think it was a put-together. I actually found a dress form in a local shop for $8 that this should fit onto. Have to give it a little cleaning first.
