FRISCAN Posted April 2, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2008 Evening Gents, I finished this one the other day. I had never built a DUKW or "DUCK" as many call them. This 1:32 Italeri DUKW is all hand-painted to mimic that to my uncles unit of the U.S. 832nd Amphibious Group in Germany, ca. 1945. I built it to give to him, to sort of well...return "his" DUKW. I gave it to him today as a matter of fact and he was quite happy with it. Although he remarked his was an earlier model of the DUKW than this model.(i.e. his didn't have ridges down the sides) Heres a few pictures of "FROG"...(which is my uncles nickname for anyone wondering.) Let me know what you think! Kind Regards, FRISCAN

Jeeper704 Posted April 2, 2008 Share #3 Posted April 2, 2008 That's a commendable thing you did for your uncle. It looks very nice too. Erwin
