Not sure if we really should discuss these here. Do they really fit in with militaria? That's a question for the administrators to decide.

At any rate, on April 11-12 an auction house is auctioning several NASA medals that came from the estate of Donald "Deke" Slayton. Included is his Apollo Soyuz, 1975, NASA Distinguished Service Medal. The website is http://www.mkjassoci...u...r=11&page=1

I don't have any involvement with this auction and won't be bidding. I noticed a few of our froum members have posted space medals before and I thought they might be interested in this one.

There is other US militaria being sold at this auction. Including an Indian War era 5 Button.

Deke Slayton Nasa DSM sold for 3,750.00 each before auction commssion.

I met Deke Slayton 22 years ago. Nice guy to talk with.
