Justin Posted June 4, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 4, 2013 From what I've gathered this 1962 era rucksack was originally a Specical Forces test rucksack. This rucksack is dated November 1962 and fetures a sewn in lable and not the standard ink stamp. Only 1,300 were made at the time. I also recently added to my collection a named camo poncho liner dated 1962 in similar condition.

Sabrejet Posted June 4, 2013 Share #5 Posted June 4, 2013 You have some really nice VN gear Justin. Laid out with your minty helmets it'd make for a pretty nifty display!

Sabrejet Posted June 4, 2013 Share #7 Posted June 4, 2013 What do you stuff your rucks with to make them look full, Justin?
Justin Posted June 4, 2013 Author Share #8 Posted June 4, 2013 What do you stuff your rucks with to make them look full, Justin? I just use old camo Woodland shirts as I have a ton of them. I like using something with weight to it rather then bubble wrap or a pillow.

collector Posted September 2, 2017 Share #10 Posted September 2, 2017 I've got one of those, it was with my father's stuff. Took it apart years ago, and now can't figure out how to put it together. Has a Davis belt and a holder for a rifle butt with it.
