Hi guys i was watching the history channel the other day and was watching a program called "history of the army" i think, anyway it was about general douglas macarthur getting kicked out of the philippines and going back, once they started talking about him going back they showed a still photo of him standing with a bunch of men and there were like palm trees behind them and maybe one big tree, i was abit busy looking at the interesting guy to the right of macarthur.

it was abit like this one only everyone in the picture was in single file looking at the camera and the view was from further back and the camera was at about head hight, not looking up from a low position like in the photo above.

i thought i would be able to find this picture easy on the net, but cant

any help would be apreaciated

cheers

Finding pictures of MacArthur is too easy and that could be your problem: Photographers followed him everywhere and he undoubtedly is a leading candidate to be the most photographed U.S. soldier of all time. In any case, here is another of him walking around after his return to the Philippines (it may just be the one you want). Lt. Gen. Robert Eichelberger C.G. Eighth U.S. Army (with shoulder holster) is next to MacArthur and the G.!. on the far right is Sgt. Bill McLaughlin, 21st Cavalry Reconnaissance Troop, Americal Division.
