Early MILLS suspenders

These are a pattern that I have not seen before. Patent dates 1907, but they are not the M1907 pattern.

Actually these are a variant of the Mills 1907 suspenders.    Your pair is missing the metal bracket that would be found

holding the ends (Right sider of your photo) togather.

 

See attached photo

 

The only part different is the connecting strap.

 

Is your dated?

 

My assumption is that this was experimental and not produced in large numbers.
