tigerfan Posted March 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 22, 2008 Here's a WWII Disney related patch that I have had for years but have yet been unable to ID. This is made of leather, measures 4-5/8" and shows Donald Duck coming down from the clouds "on" a parachute. He isn't wearing the chute but sitting on a plank like a swing. I found this folded between the pages of an AAF related book in a soldiers footlocker. Anyway thought others would be interested in viewing. disneydave Posted March 23, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2008 I have never seen this one before. The design is not in my database...could have been made by an enterprising artist in the unit, as opposed to being an officially sanctioned Disney design. Interesting... Brig Posted April 7, 2008 Share #3 Posted April 7, 2008 I, too, am guessing it was a self or small unit design. These days, units design their own shirts and designs regularly, unofficially
