Statue de la Liberty Squadron Patch

I just picked this squadron patch up along with some photos and paperwork. I have not seen this version before. has anybody seen this patch before. Most paperwork is dated 1953 thanks Mike post-45737-0-27652400-1365902736.jpg

48th Fighter-Bomber Wing out of Chaumont AB, France. They flew F-84s until November 1953, then converted to F-86s.

Thanks for the info, most of the pictures are of Europe, Paris, Rome, etc.. Couple of pics of F84's and B47's I believe.

This version was used very late 53 or early 54 for a couple years. Prior to that, the insignia was a flaming sword. Later versions were smaller and the F-86 wasn't as distinctive. About 1962 they switched to the sheild shaped version. The Skyblazers arcobatic team used one with 4 F-86s in it. Your patch is German made.

Sorry, I don't give out exact dimensions anymore due to several folks that have to be dishonest and try their level best to reproduce and sell things. I hope you understand. It's bigger than normal. As far as price, they can hit $400-500 if they even surface. Maybe more if a couple guys really want it I guess. I know of 3 total and I've been doing this 30 years.

Sorry I understand and support your position, Inside of a lot of Patches I found one of first type ( different of your) I think is a copy but I don't know if has a real dimension or too little, about 4.5"
