cabbell2006 Posted March 8, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 8, 2008 Last week my wife and i decided to take a trip to a local antique store, after a search of the store i was redy to call it quits and started to walk out, near the door i noticed a small basket with a few rusty and abused bayonets at the bottom i noticed a navy MK 1 knife at close examination i noticed the handel was impressed R.C. Osborn on one side and the other side of the handel was impressed U.S.S. Dehaven D.D. 727. I did a little research and found out that Mr. Osborn was rank captain abord the ww2 destoyer. Well any way i parted with $25.00 and went away very happy.
gunbarrel Posted March 8, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 8, 2008 Nice find! You don't see as many of the Colonial Mark 1's.
