Original 1948 1st Edition 3rd Marine Division History

I just found a 1948 dated green cover book with 3rd Mar Div logo on front, plus yellow EGA on spine, Infantry Journal Press..owned by a Capt. C.T. Ostrum..book is in good shape, a bit smaller than the 6th Mar Div book I just got last week. This one was more $,,$48.00, where the 6th Mar Div was $25.00...

Seller had a history of the 9th Marines..1948 first edition...over $50.00..I didnt get it, mostly names, some organization, worth anything more than these Division histories, or more esoteric?
