98J (Electronic Intelligence Interceptor/Analyst) military intelligence PFC of a MI or Army Security Agency unit, possibly an honor guard, at Fort Devens, MA in 1975. The beret is presumably oriental blue and the bib gray which are the branch colors of Military Intelligence.

Infantry blue bib worn by a member of Company B 7th Cavalry sporting crossed sabres on his cap.

This is James Clifford Phillips who was killed in action with the 9th Infantry Division in Vietnam on May 2, 1967. In the photo, he was probably serving with the 1st Cavalry Division in Korea.

Phillips was a EM, so wondering if this wearing of these officer crossed sabres was a novelty sort of thing or a Battle Group/Battalion thing, Which if before ROAD and was still PENTOMIC would be the 1st Battle Group 7th Cavalry.

Gernot Bender of the 3rd Squadron 7th Cavalry wearing a cavalry yellow bib with the 3rd Infantry Division SSI. He was later posthumously awarded the Distinguished Service Cross in Vietnam while assigned to the 3rd Squadron 4th Cavalry in 1969.

White bib with full color 82nd Airborne Division SSI worn by a member of the 1st Squadron 17th Cavalry. His branch disc appears to be military intelligence and his "oval" for his jump wings appears to be cut edge and almost round in shape.

A officer of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment West Germany circa 1962-63 with a stylized ALLONS Blackhorse patch on a scarf. The scarf is probably Yellow, though it could be White. Curiously he wears no DIs on his Green Loops, note too a ribbon that looks like it's for the Good Conduct Medal.
