BEAST Posted January 22, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2013 In honor of the 70th anniversary of his death, I thought I would post this small tribute. Dick Miller was from my hometown and has been a special interest of mine for over 25 years. I "adopted" his grave when I lived in Fort Wayne and when I go back; I try to stop and pay my respects. CPT Miller was the bombardier on the B-25 right behind Doolittle’s aircraft flying into Tokyo. He was killed by anti-aircraft fire during a raid on the ports at Sfax, Tunisia on January 22, 1943. BEAST Posted November 28, 2014 Author Share #2 Posted November 28, 2014 If you are interested in reading more about this Tokyo Raider, the January 2015 issue of Aviation History magazine will run an article that I wrote on the life of Richard (Bud) Miller.
