Bob M Posted March 3, 2008 Share #1 Posted March 3, 2008 I have this small box from Schrade, but wants to know what kind of knives were originally in there. Looked on Google, but couldnt find an answer which could satisfy me. Does anyone know what type the 708 was, when it was build etc? Pictures of the box: Thanks in advance, Bob

Pictures of the box: Thanks in advance, Bob From the label on the box you can tell that the knives were manufactured post WWII because in 1946 Albert M. Baer purchased the Schrade Cutlery Company and renamed it the Schrade Walden Cutlery Corporation which became a division of the Imperial Knife Associated Companies group. Info taken from here From a Google search the model 708 was a 2 bladed pocket knife Boy Scout version from eBay: HERE HERE'S another from eBay I hope that helps
