firefighter Posted August 30, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted August 30, 2016 Great to see you were able to have more information. http://www.tankdestroyer.net/units/battalions800s/276-818th-tank-destroyer-battalion Erwin Thank you Erwin.I would love to put what awards he was awarded on his jacket. He must have done something to make MSG in only a few years. I'm guessing he was in all 5 campaigns and received a GCM. So I'm thinking: American Camp, EAME w/ 5 stars, GCM, WW2 Vic, & ?? NO PUC because he was H&H Co. Jeeper704 Posted September 1, 2016 Share #7 Posted September 1, 2016 Maybe he came from the National Guard? The ribbons would be ok in my opinion. If he was wounded, maybe a PH ribbon too. Erwin

firefighter Posted September 15, 2016 Author Share #13 Posted September 15, 2016 ZSmith you are correct, not sure why I put EDWARD. I can not read the newspaper article, I hate signing up for a 'free' trial. Was there any mention of awards? Thank you for posting his information. CARNAHAN, Howard L.
