USAAF ETO flying helmets

Just have a few, but figured I'd help keep things rolling.

 

 

Mid production 3 snap A-11 Helmet with Polaroid NO.1065 goggles and A-14 Oxygen Mask with an ANB-M-C1 microphone.

Later production 4 snap A-11 Helmet with Rochester Optical B-8 Goggles and A-14 Oxygen Mask with T-44 microphone with the "Bell" plug for adapting to RAF radios.

USAAF used RAF Type C Helmet with ANB-H-1 receivers in the ear cups, Polaroid B-8 Goggles and A-14 Oxygen Mask with T-44 microphone with the "Bell" plug for adapting to RAF radios.

USAAF used RAF Type C with ANB-H-1 receivers taped into the ear cups. Polaroid NO.1065 goggles.

B-5. No provision for receivers. Sometimes holes were simply cut into the sides to allow for the use of headsets, as here. Alternatively, leather ear-cups which retained R-14 receivers were sometimes sewn on at unit level.
