101combatvet Posted February 21, 2008 Share #4 Posted February 21, 2008 I purchased several of these from a WW2 17th Airborne veteran all unused along with several original earlier issued used wings, he was discharged in late 1945. The grouping also included a catalog from Meyer post marked 1946 send to his home address. I believe that he ordered those Meyer wings in 1946 after receiving that catalog. Just my theory but....
