635th SPS 1972 Easter Offensive preperation

These shots were taken as our squadron made sure personnel were ready for the 1972 Easter Offensive.

Mortor flares used to burn of vegitation off the perimeter fene and expand the clear aareas inside the fence line.

The entire squadron had to refamilialize themselves with slap flares, the weapons they carried the most as well as some they would not normally use. Heavy weapons were issued to certain vehicle patrols, extra H.W. teams were prepared, and a count of weapons and ammo was made in the event the entire base had to be armed. This included the weapons and ammo we were not supposed to have.
