BROBS Posted August 7, 2013 Share #52 Posted August 7, 2013 This is a great thread on WW2 named GCM's! I like all the different lettering styles and is a great representation of what to look for. I see now some lettering similar to the one on the far right in this pic. The ones on the left are beautifully engraved IMO. does the one that is "pantograph" engraved seem OK? or is this a later issue medal? thanks, Brian

Bruce Linz Posted November 4, 2013 Share #68 Posted November 4, 2013 Here is a photo of the front of Rebecca Moore's Good Conduct Medal. It is interesting that all three lapel pins are pin backs which would be appropriate for a female veteran since women's jackets generally do not have a place for the button type lapel pin. Bruce Linz Posted November 20, 2013 Share #75 Posted November 20, 2013 Hi Jay, Those Army Good Conduct Medals you posted are some beauties. I always enjoy seeing these named examples. I have recently been out bid on a couple of named WAC GCM's, guess I need to quit being such a cheapskate. Semper Fi, Bruce
