I set up a hand grenade display a couple weeks ago at the Washington Arms Collectors show in Puyallup and thought some of you might like to see it. It's always fun bringing something to a show that isn't usually seen at events like this. Got some nice comments and, more to the point, some good leads on new stuff for the collection.

What a nice display! You don't see two many of those CW grenades still having the wooden stem and fins, congratulations, Ray

Nice! I would have gone up to Puyallup to see that had I known it'd be there, but I made other plans instead that weekend...

Thanks for the comments guys. A busy weekend ahead but I'll try to add some extra photos of the V40 and other mini-grenades when I can.

I had no idea that we had so many different types of grenades. Great looking collection. Amazing how times have changed. When I was a kid in the late 70's, at school we would trade de-milled grenades during recess on the playground. If it was against the rules we didn't know it and I am sure the teacher didn't know what we were doing.

A long time ago I was in the office of the OIC at an ASP and on his desk was a low order exploded M67 similar looking to the one in your display case. Thank You for taking the time to post the photos of your excellent display and refreshing my memory.

Rick, I know you don't need me to tell you what a great display you've created. But, I do still feel it only right to give you kudos for sharing it with the rest of us. You are a great member of our virtual community, and I thank you. ~scott

I have seen this display from Puyallup to Portland through out the years and it is still intriguing. A Wonderful Display to marvel at and the technicality of it all is beauteous.

Great display and information cards for each grenade. I really like the cut-away grenade.....I grew up outside of Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland and always went to the Ordnance Museum at tank row on base. They had a similar display of hand grenades.....very well done! Thanks for sharing this with us.
