Went to a local auction tuesday evening. There were a few military items advertised.I spotted this rubberized green canvas bag under one of the tables. It was open and I could see a coil of nylon line in the bag.Upon looking closer I couldnt believe what I was reading on the bag.

I recognized the name right away and saw it was part of the Fulton Skyhook recovery system. :o

It was even dated 1967 and came with a couple of pieces of original paper work.Severa; years ago I had one of the suits in blue.THinking I should have kept it.....

Ron I've got the "grappling hook" that caught the wire or rope. Got it from a pilot that caught a few of these lines in his day!

Very Cool Ronnie B)

I had one of the suits and it was mint.Very light weight.Basically a rubberized nylon (?) and very thin material.Basically just covered the extraction harness.

Had a cousin who was familiar with both the Fulton System and STABO.

Thanks

I talked to a guy once who did a bit of research on these and found the place where they manufactured these. It was a long time ago so not sure if the place is still there or not.
