hhbooker2 Posted February 12, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 12, 2008 While looking through my vast library of books on uniforms and insignia, I came across this 1918 classic by U.S. Marine Corps Coloenl Dion Williams showing two Army of the United States general officers wearing the Chapeau headgear, I wonder how popular they were? The United States Navy wore them until 1941, perhaps they were happy to have abandoned them, who knows?
