With the release of iOS six, users of iPhones and iPads may be able to upload photos directly from their phone or iPad to the forum.

If your iPhone or iPad can except iOS six, then you will notice that when you use Safari the option to upload photos to the forum appears just as it does on your laptop or other desktop computer.

One problem with any phone or tablet these days is that they take very high resolution photos much larger than is needed for an online forum.

Phones and tablets including the iPad have software that allows you to crop or otherwise shrink photos so that they are small enough to use on the forum. I recommend having photos who's largest size is no more than about 600 to 640 pixels.

Here is a photo that is 640x480 pixels which is really an ideal size for forum photographs.

That image is about 68 kB and you can easily fit one or two of those into each post based on the limits the forum has for the size of images in each post.

This next image is a screenshot from an iPad it has not been cropped or reduce and it takes up over 400 kB of space.

By the way if you're not an admin you will not be able to upload images that size. So, it's a good idea to find out what kind of photo editing software is available for your phone or tablet.

There is one more example:this is a photograph taken with the iPad and it should be much higher resolution than the screenshot and subsequently take up a lot more space, In fact it takes up about 800 kB of space, eight times as much as you are allowed to use in one post on this forum.
