JDK Posted September 13, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 13, 2012 Keeping up with my resolution to share the collection..........Here's a pair of painted A-2 jackets from the 390th Bomb Group 8th AAF that have been in my collection for a while.1st up is a grouping to the lead pilot of the B-17 "Bad Egg" Lt. You can see Feichter is wearing his jacket in the bottom row with the light color name strip.1. 2. Last a description on how they came about naming their plane! I spelled Fiechters name wrong in my 1st post....
