manayunkman Posted September 8, 2012 Share #1 Posted September 8, 2012 It is sometimes hard to help others get the feel for the life that is in a grouping. How the examination and study of it gets you emotionally involved with the person. I hope I can convey to you why this group captured me and has been with me for over 22 years. I first came to know of this group at Silver Springs in 1980. A gentleman came to me a sold me a bunch of TR stuff. It came from his neighbor who's husband had passed away. There was to be more but I never heard from him again. Then in 1990 I meet him again at the Carlisle Antique show. This time he takes me to his neighbor and this was just the beginning of what I got. manayunkman Posted September 8, 2012 Author Share #2 Posted September 8, 2012 Mrs S and I became very good friends. Most of her friends were nurses she knew from the war. I had several lunch meetings with them together and individually. Over time this collection was put together. All these items are from Mrs S.
