Standard procedure for me was to talk to anyone who was out and about. This day I was in Enola, Pa. I saw a man doing yard work and I stopped to talk to him. We went inside and opened his trunk of mementoes. This is what I found less the TR stuff which is long gone. There is too much for one picture so I broke it into 4 groups. Here is Fe wearing his 8th Armored ( he was in the 53rd Armored Engineers ) patch which was the last unit he served with after the war. That field behind him is now a shopping center with Enola in the background. Also in the picture are several unit histories including the 331st Combat Team and 83rd Infantry Division.
