In the Spring of 1992 my neighbor came over to my house with a cardboard box.

.45 1911, PO8, P38 and an important knife ( all gone a very long time ago ).

His best friends dad had passed and these things were his.

An offer had to be made and they would get back to me.

I hate that.

Eventually I went over to the house and these papers were strewn all over the attic so I collected them up.

They were destined for....yep the trash.

I hope you enjoy them and if you know anything about the SIC please don't hold back.

And this one. Of course this is just a small representation of what is in the manuals.

They basically train you for getting information from people, how to do it and what has value

One of the more interesting reports that Sempeles did was this one.

Sempeles had the opportunity to interview one of Prime Minister Dollfuss' secretaries who had fled to the USA.

The search was for pro and anti Nazis in Austria. The secretary apparently knew some Austrian secret police.

The first report in on Vienna Secret Police Heinrich Berger.

Though seemingly a Nazi supporter Berger helps this man escape Austria with an SS guard to the boarder.

The report is 29 packed pages of Secret Police in Austria and who does and doesn't support the Nazis.

The majority of the reports are about weapons, food, criminal activity, vehicle operation and anything else about the US Army you can think of.

He also did background checks for security clearance as there are several of those reports as well.

You might not be able to see this but it is a report from a man in the 34th Recon

Interesting group. Was the man a civilian agent or part of the military?

He was a Staff Sargent in the Army under the Army Service Forces.
