JohnnieDavis Posted August 26, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 26, 2012 Morning all, this one is pretty cool. It's a P38 made out of 50 cal bullets, 30 cal bullets and brass sheets. The base is a 40? mm shell, 3 30-06 shells for the tower and 3 .45 bullets as the base. Someone was incredibly skilled but extremely bored at one time. I just have to affix the plane to the base at some point. Easy fix Enjoy! JD

scottiques Posted September 19, 2013 Share #7 Posted September 19, 2013 Here the first aircraft trench art that I purchased-- got it 20+ years ago and it is still one of my favorites. Scott

scottiques Posted September 19, 2013 Share #9 Posted September 19, 2013 The plexiglass wing is affixed to it ? Very nice. Yes sir. It has two small screws that attach it to the center cartridge. The size of this one is unusual-- most of the P-38s are significantly larger. Scott
