Five years later, while doing some house re-organizing I came across the group of negatives that this one came fro. I decided to re-scan this to bring out more detail and to add two more that were with it. and lastly....post-70300-0-73274100-1488588813_thumb.jpg You sailors will have to tell me if all those canvas coverings are for when the ship will be in dock for a while as for re-fitting ? Would that be done in the P.I.'s

The last photo with the shadows across the top of the turret would indicate more than likely early afternoon and looking in a west or south west direction ??

Searched some old chart catalogs. More likely, with the OP information, the port of Manila with same type of breakwater set up.
