Guest HOMEFRONTDOC Posted February 3, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 3, 2008 Hi Dave. Quick question. Did ALL of the war bond certs have a disney watermark??? What color paper were they printed on? Did they have the USGPO mark in the bottom right corner on all of them? I may have a fake on my hands. I appreciate the input. disneydave Posted March 3, 2008 Share #3 Posted March 3, 2008 Hi Frank. Mine has the printing office notation. For the watermark, mine has an eagle with outstretched wings. I have not seen one with a Disney watermark. I know Disney reprinted some of these for an aniversary event a few years ago. Hope this helps. jguy1986 Posted February 21, 2014 Share #4 Posted February 21, 2014 I know this thread hasn't been updated in almost 6 years, but I thought I would add this unused certificate. The watermark looks like it would be for "Resolute Ledger" but the mark is cut-off partway through the last word, and this one has the Homer H. Boelter mark in the right corner. Unfortunately, it has some staple holes along the edges, but it's still a pretty neat piece. -- Jon
