WW II Paratrooper Studio Portrait

This picture is like some of the others I have seen were the soldier is not wearing rank insignia, DUIs, a shoulder patch and no insignia on his hat. He does wear jump wings and an ETO ribbon. Since the airborne wings background oval appears to have a white border and the dark color backing, he may have been with 504th, 508th, 509th Parachute Regiment or the 325th Glider Regiment. I think had he known his image would be posted on this Forum, he would have at least worn his SSI.
