Picked this up at the local auction last night. First one I have bought, don't think $10 was to much.

I've seen them selling in the $40-60 range in slightly worse condition, so you did good.

Great score! I've seen them go for $100.00 and up for a realy clean one.

That case looks awfully long for a Carbine case.Has it been added onto?There was no issue Garand case during WW2 that I have found listed anyplace in the SNLs.

All the one's I've seen in person were modified from carbine cases by extending the non-zippered end. I don't have any idea who did the extension.

Repro's on SARCO go for twice that amount. You did very good.

Its shape seems large enough to accommodate a scoped rifle.  Wonder if it’s for an M1C or D?  Want to double your investment?
