I HAVE BEEN SORTING AGAIN AND HAVE THESE TO ID. I CAN'T FIND MY BOOKS, SO PLEASE HELP!

 

LOT 1

1- Coast Guard "E" Ribbon

6- Coast Guard Unit Commendation

7- Coast Guard Basic Training Honor Graduate

10- Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation

1- NATO Former Yugoslavia

3- Coast Guard Sea Service Deployment

4 and 9- Vietnamese Staff Service, 1st Class

5 and 10- Vietnamese Staff Service, 2nd Class

6- UN Service Medal

7- Coast Guard Commandants Letter of Commendation

8- Vietnamese Navy Distinguished Service Order, 2nd Class

1- French Croix de Guerre (WWII)

3- US Navy Recruiting Service

4- AF Basic Training Honor Graduate

6- French Croix de Guerre (WWI)

7- Belgian Croix de Guerre (WWII)

8- Coast Guard Meritorious Unit Commendation with Operational "O"

10- Somalia Commemorative

LOT 5

1- Congressional Space Medal of Honor

3 and 8- Second Nicaraguan Campaign

6- Inter-American Defense Board (the medal that never was)

7- Organization of American States

Number 9 in lot 4 appears to be the "China Relief" ribbon, can't tell if it's first or second issue, which means the tiny stripes on either side of the yellow bar are either blue or black.

Number 8 in lot 5 is a 1/2 inch USN or USMC 2nd Nicaragua campaign ribbon

You should be able to identify just about any ribbon you have with the information available here. It is an excellent resource for identifying ribbons from just about any agency you can think of. It is regularly updated with new releases too. thumbsup.gif
