WW1 Military football game photos

This is my first post. I am a flea maret, estate sale fan and often find interesting military items. I recently acquired 7 B&W photo about 4x5" each which had been removed from a scrapbook (black paper glued to reverse). The 7 photos show a football game on an Army base with a navy soldier as a referee in one photo. The scenes of the crowd on the sidelines are mostly men in Army uniforms. And in one photo the Army soldiers spill onto the field after the game. The football helmets, and cars on the sidelines indicate a probable WW1 era. I show 2 views here. The pictures are not the best quality, but interesting. Anybody have any guesses when and where these photos were taken?
