Photo 266, The only two in existence CASE/USMC prototypes (I purchased the CASE/USMC with the original BM prototype scabbard at the CASE Auction in 1982 shown in Silvey’s book, the other is from Bill Adams’ collection which is shown in Cole’s book), ROBESON SHUREDGE/USMC.

Just amazed to see these two case prototypes.I hope forum members can appreciate the rareity of these two knives.I recall the auction as I saw it advertised.I cant imagine what it was like to be in attendance(I was just out of high schoo at the timel)

Seeing these in a photo is spectacular.I recall from Coles book the distinctive grind of the blade and false edge but to see it in the photo is truely beautiful.

Thanks for sharing all of your outstanding collection.
