Hello Kurt~~I just joined this forum because my dad was looking up his brother online and found the information you displayed for Donald T. Malone, Lt., USNR, his brother. My dad and Donald (Donnie) were the only children of Bertha and Ray Malone of Bayside, California. My dad lives in Newcastle, California and I live nearby. I am not sure if you read things regularly on this site, but my dad has a photograph of Donnie in the uniform you show online here, and he wondered if you might enjoy having it. Thanks.

To think, this all started as the original medal grouping, and in the last year has grown into a even more fantastic grouping.

 

There are definitely some advantages to posting groups. I had a similar thing happen with a family over the last year as well. I hope to share the story soon.
