Hi Ian, sorry to say no photo's, and the helmet is in the ' shoebox ' and the shoebox is in the vault. :crying:

Swivel bail and no idea when the insignia was added. It is painted and not a decal and it did come from a 29th ID Armory.

That's funny when I was in the NG in the late 80s we had unissued ww2 helmets as well just sitting in a crate. I ask if I could buy a few. They told me to take what I want. So I took 5 of them. Did not realize what they would be  worth today. :(
