Quality seems low, as some of the finish has rubbed off from polishing.... Opinions on era of manufacture/age are appreciated??? Johan, I have never esperienced an original pair of Glider pilot wings that had this stamped appearance, though I have seen lots of modern reproductions made this way. This is not so much a fake designed to trick people, but a common recent vintage glider badge that can be bought from surplus stores, army-navy stores, etc. I have seen them for most of the ratings from WWII, as well as the balloon wings.
