This set of 18 impressions (2/3 US Army 1/3 USMC) has taken me about two years to put together. I am ready to answer specific questions and criticisms. The SSIs reflect my California Historic Group affiliation for the WWII impressions only. The Vietnam era right sleee SSI is the 23rd Infantry (Americal) Division. The corresponding left sleeve SSI is the 1st Cavalry Division. The Special Forces and LRRP impressions have MACV on the right sleeve. All WWII impressions contain reproduction uniforms.

Some web gear is original WWII issue. Korean War era uniforms that were originally issued in WWII are also reproductions. Unique Korean War era garments (Parka, Parka-type overciat, M-50 and M-51 uniform items) are all original. All Korean War issue field packs and web gear is original. All Vietnam War uniforms are reproduction. All Vietnam War web gear and field packs are original. WWII boots are reproduction as are double-buckle M-43 boots. All Vietnam era boots are original. WWII and Korean War helmet is original. Vietnam era helmet/liner are 1980s vintage.

All combat packs and haversacks contain the usual issue items (change of socks/under wear, mess kit, k-rations, field towels and toiletry items) . All knap sacks and cargo packs carry a poncho and a field jacket. The shelter half rolls carry the appropriate style poles, pins, and guy rope, as well as a wool blanket, poncho liner, or wool sleping bag, as appropriate. The Vietnam era field packs (light weight ruck sack and tropical ruck sack) carry the correct vinyl acetate sand bags and an inflateable air mattress.

All weapons are the legal configuration for California or are non-firing, non-guns. All bandoleers contain blank cartridges, as used in, CHG-approved, reenactment events. All grenades are reproduction and have never contained real explosives or fuses.

The size of the attachment file upload limits my ability to place more than one impression per post. I will, therefore, make multiple posts with multiple attachments. You should already have my A Shau 1968 impression. Here is Bataan 1941.

everything is great til you said all weapons are non-firing California legal :crying:

All are California Legal. Some are non-firing/non-guns. Look at them carefully. Can you tell me which ones are non-firing/non-guns? Also, I am trying to fix the photos that would not load, because the files are too big. I WILL POST THE ABOUT FACE IMPRESSIONS FOR AS MANY OF THESE AS I CAN, TOMORROW!!!
