kfields Posted January 21, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 21, 2012 Hi guys. I bought this British made CIB a couple of years ago at a small shop in Illinois and always wondered who made it. A closer look shows an 'FN' on the back. Does that stand for 'F.Narborough' in Birmingham? The enameling is perfect! thanks! Kim
Sivart Posted January 21, 2012 Share #2 Posted January 21, 2012 All of the FN BHAM marked badges I have seen have been marked both on the upper right wreath and the left side of the lower wreath. I'm not saying its not an FN badge, I've just never seen one like that before. It sure is a sweet looking badge though, its been well cared for! kfields Posted January 21, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted January 21, 2012 Thanks Travis. I'll take another look at the wreaths but I'm pretty sure it's only marked in the location above. Kim

Sounds similar to a dug one I have, single piece, is marked on top right wreath and lower left with something, but so beaten up it's difficult to read, apart from the fact I'm sure it says B'ham. Will try to post a picture later.
WittWorldWide.com Posted January 29, 2017 Share #5 Posted January 29, 2017 I have just posted an FN Birmingham CIB for sale... You may want to compare the Double F.N. B'ham maker mark.
