Amazing headgear, without doubt.

 

And very helpful for the 98% of us who are still confused about tiger stripe variations.

An incredible collection of very rare headgear! Thanks for schooling us in some truly awesome variations which most of us will never have the chance to hold in our hands. I love the VNMC beachball style boonie, that is a really unique piece...Nice to see the details of mismatched fabrics, the Viets didn't waste anything did they.

Here is my only piece of tiger stripes head gear.

I posted it earlier in Tiger Stripes Part Two and several forum members suspect it to be TSP.

According to Owen judging from the photos there is about a 50-50 chance that it is from an original hand screened batch which has a very similar pattern.

I don't know much about silk screening, but my boonie feels and looks almost like the paint was applied with a brush. The black looks like it it has been scratched in spots by wear and tear.

Well I don't know.... come and feel for yourself! :)
