Anyone out there got any WW2 mark2 frag grenade container tubes that they could email me some pictures of? Or post on here?

I also need the dimensions..

First, welcome to the site.

Second, I am sorry I can't help you myself. The grenade containers I have are all post-war, I believe.

You might try contacting the guy who runs this grenade site. He seems knowledgable and likes to communicate with others interested in the subject.

This appeared on a italian forum. The guy found the grenade with metal detector and after he bought the case.

Hi The one in my Collection is 2 7/8 inch wide and 5 inches tall with steel end caps That has Hand Grenade. MK.11 Container M41 embossed on each end. With black tarred paper making up the body. Hope that helps a little. Don

Each can has a piece of felt , I guess to provide some cushion and a small cardboard square for the top of the spoon,
