Baldwin is of interest, but if someone finds the owner of the medal documents please let me know..Generous finder's fee for successful lead. Thanks, Ed This man was the real deal! TrenchfootJoe66 Posted December 10, 2011 Share #6 Posted December 10, 2011 Man that is cool stuff In the color shot there is an ARVN trooper in Windproofs wearing what appears to me to be a cammo painted helmet. Anyone see it or is it just my old eyes?
kammo-man Posted December 10, 2011 Share #7 Posted December 10, 2011 It could be a parachute ?
TrenchfootJoe66 Posted December 10, 2011 Share #8 Posted December 10, 2011 It could be a parachute ? Thats what I thought originally. But the more I looked I didnt see any of the ripples and folds you might expect to see on a cover. IIRC those parachute silk covers were not usually super taught. I could be wrong though, just guessing at this point.

immurement Posted May 27, 2022 Share #12 Posted May 27, 2022 What a fantastic grouping! This guy was a straight G. Didn't know he made both combat jumps with the 187th RCT. Thanks for sharing.
