Hi Guys, This one has me stumped..It has matching holes on each side..one side has two indents on bottom rail and not sure about the hole in the back. Any ideas?

Could it have had a couple of rivets in it at one time to load 5 rounds only?

It looks like the notches are cut out instead of stamped. I wonder if this could be an early educational order for a contractor. Looks kinda like the early WRA one on this website. I don't know why the middle is cut out ?? Very interesting though. Might also add I knew a guy that made wind chimes out of these and they were drilled on the sides like yours.

This was found with other Educational contract clips with the WRA on back.. not sure if the large hole in back was broken out or produced that way..will try and see if I can take good closeups of the area. Why an extra notch on one side???? :think: I also posted on the CMP forum see if those guys can come up with anything. :think:
