#9 The vehicle shown is an M-88 Tank Recovery vehicle.

I am thinking you probably have a patch from a Division Maintenance Battalion. E Company would have been assigned support of a Brigade, most likely the Division's 3rd Brigade. As I recall such a unit would of had M-88's assigned to it.

Now, as to what division.... hard to tell. This is a problem with support units.... normally their patches, especially for small, specialized sections, are not well documented.

While the patch looks to be Asian made, it might not have been necessarily been made for a unit serving in Vietnam or Korea. Other patches are known to have been made in Vietnam for units that never left Germany.

#10 TOW 2: This patch may be a program patch, possibly from the manufacturer of the TOW missile. It may not have been particular to any unit, and may have been worn by factory representatives and military project personnel.

M88 is "Heavy Metal" used for M48's & M60's. My guess would be 1st Bn 69th Armor, 4th Inf Div.

The 4th Div would have had a lot of M48's at this time belonging to the 1st of 69th.
