Sabrejet Posted October 12, 2011 Share #1 Posted October 12, 2011 The 2" wing...frequently referred to as "shirt wings"... were the regulation size for wearing on the shirt, as the name suggests. Miniature examples of all qualification wings were produced. They are often beautifully detailed and are very collectible in their own right. Here's a selection which I've picked up on my travels over the years. Firstly, a Bombardiers' wing. No maker's mark...just STERLING.

Jack's Son Posted October 12, 2011 Share #24 Posted October 12, 2011 Ian, Looking at the pins and catches on the "sterling" marked wings, gives me the impression that these may well be made outside of the US. Did you acquire these wings in the UK and Europe ?
