While I'm at it, here's a couple pics of a Hasegawa P-51B flown by LT John Thornhill of the 352nd Fighter Group, flying from Bodney UK in 1944.

 

I added a vac-u-formed Malcolm hood and resin interior and whip antenna behind the canopy. Unfortunately, the antenna broke off while I was dusting the model with a paint brush prior to taking the pictures.

I feel your pain on the dusting operation snafu. Too bad household dust doesn't come in a more realistic "scale" appearance so we could just leave it be!

Nice job - and a neat paint scheme!
