Hi all , looking from few years for a BAR .
this one for sale desactivated . barrel is marded 11-43 made by Winchester number 824.. .the bakelite stock marked 43
good one ?

Looks kosher to me. I like the leather re-enforcement on the M-41 cuffs in the background. Some of mine could use that!!

"Kosher" is UK slang for "genuine" or "ok"...I'm not suggesting you eat it! :lol:

Thats a nice looking example there of the M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle i would go for it if the price was right that is :thumbsup:

all you need for is the Bi Pods and its fully complete they can be located fairly easily enough through the net.

Sounds like a good deal with the BAR belt & Mag's !
What sort of money is it going for only if you don't mind me asking you that is.

Ivy,
She's a real beauty. Note that the reciever is marked "Browning Machine Rifle". This is an early WWI-built model that was updated to the M1918A1 configuration. Good luck with your purchase - don't let her get away!.

Thanks !!! it was my feelings about the marking , WW1 udapte for WW2 .
I will take it ! only found a bipod and it is good !
I have a leather sling with the 3 hook to put on it
